A Post-Doc position is available at the Cellular Oxygen Physiology group, Institute of Physiology, University of Zürich-Irchel, Switzerland. We are looking for a skilled life scientist, ideally with a solid background in animal, molecular and cell biological, and/or biochemical techniques. Research experience in the field is an asset. The successful candidate shall explore the molecular mechanisms of cellular sensing, signaling and adaptation to changing oxygen availability in mammals by applying a wide variety of in vitro and in vivo techniques. A main focus will be on the regulated oxygen sensing by HIF prolyl-4-hydroxylases.
