Six Postdoctoral Positions at CeMM

CeMM is a novel, international, independent and interdisciplinary Research Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
“From the clinic to the clinic”: Driven by medical needs, CeMM integrates basic research and clinical expertise to pursue innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches focused on cancer, inflammation and immune disorders. The goal of CeMM is to assist in preparing the predictive, preventive and personalized medicine of the future.

As part of our new post-doctoral program, we are currently looking for several outstanding individuals seeking a challenging environment at the interface of basic and applied biomedicine. The Postdoctoral Program will offer workshops and lectures to enhance multidisciplinary knowledge and acquire/deepen specific technical skills, as well as a mentoring program and a personal career advice plan.

Access to genomics, proteomics, immunology, cancer biology, vascular biology and signalling expertise, a formidable Scientific Advisory Board as well as close collaborations with the clinical departments of the Medical University of Vienna are part of the opportunities. CeMM offers a competitive salary and benefits for initially three years. In May 2010 we will move to our new tailor-made building at the center of the Vienna Medical University/General Hospital Campus and close to the heart of the city.

• In Silico Biologist/System Biologist (Reference: Post-doc GSF/JC-ISB)

All candidates must have a recent PhD or MD degree, a strong academic track record and demonstrated research productivity. The official language at CeMM is English. CeMM is an equal opportunity employer.
