As the leading research center in Europe in the field of environmental health (the connecting discipline between biomedicine and environmental research), scientists in the Helmholtz Center Munich analyse fundamental processes of disease development, and the damage to, as well as the defence and compensatory mechanisms of, organisms.

Job Description
for the analysis of the molecular control of pluripotency in murine embryonic stem cells. The expression levels of transcription factors will be continuously quantified in living ES cells over days and linked to later cell fates. A combination of cutting edge bioimaging technology, generation of knock-in ES cell lines and sophisticated stem cell culture techniques will be used.

Your Qualifications
A Ph.D. degree, high scientific interest and motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are expected. Experience in stem cell culture, phenotyping and transfecting/infecting cell lines, molecular biology skills and computer aided image data acquisition and analysis are required.
