POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Grade 7: Fixed salary range from £26,666 to £30,012 pa

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position to studycation permeability of sickle red blood cells in the Ellory/Gibsonlaboratories in the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics. Theideal candidate will hold a PhD in a biological subject. Familiaritywith the patch clamp techniques is essential, and applicants withadditional experience of fluorescence and radiotracer techniques wouldbe at an advantage. The ability to work in a team is essential.
The post, which is funded by the Wellcome Trust, is offered for threeyears and is available immediately.
