The University of Manitoba is one of the top research institutes in all of Canada. The Faculty of Pharmacy has recently relocated to a new state-of-the-art teaching research facility on the Bannatyne Campus at the University of Manitoba. The open-access laboratory facilitates collaboration across a wide range of biological, microbiological, analytical research programs.

Job Summary / Responsibilities:

As a Post-Doctoral Fellow, you will be a member of a research team involved with the development of novel drug delivery systems medical devices for the treatment/prevention of HIV/AIDS.

Responsibilities include but not limited to, development acterization of various drug delivery platforms (with specific emphasis on lipid /or polymer based nanoparticles), in vitro biological assays, in vivo animal models. The successful cidate is also expected to work collaboratively with team members within external to the University of Manitoba.

Qualifications Experience:

- Ph.D. in pharmaceutics, bioengineering, chemistry, or a related discipline.

- A good publication record with experience related to lipid or polymer based nanomedicine.

- Excellent oral written communication skills, willingness to contribute to work in a team environment.

- Salary will be commensurate with training research experience.
