1.Arrive at a diagnosis by questioning patients 2.Assess various parameters such as body temperature, pulse, appetiteand sleep patterns 3.Examine vital areas of the body 4.Determine which acupuncture points to treat 5.Insert and manipulate acupuncture needles 6.Prescribe herbal therapies for patients 7.Perform acupressure 8.Advise patients on aftercare and lifestyle changes 9.Perform office administrative tasks 10.Following commitment to educating the next generation of medicalprofessionals, physicians will be responsible, as part of their ongoingduties, for mentoring, precepting, teaching and supervising fellows orother relevant trainees. 11.Additional job responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, departmentchair or CMO. 12.Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee. 13.Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other Internal Medicine physicians. 14.Exemplifies highest levels of professionalism and medical ethics inevery aspect of his or her work and relationships.
Qualifications 1.Bachelor degree or above in Medicine 2.Holding a current and active Medical License in TCM 3.Minimum 3 years post-residency clinical experience 4.Strong command in English and/or Mandarin (other languages are a plus) 5.Flexible with clinic locations and clinical hours (extended day shiftor weekend shift) 6.Ability to work in a multi-culture, multi-discipline environment
