Provide high quality medical and surgical care to surgical in- and out-patients.
Perform independent surgery on privileged cases in consultation with theCMO and the Chief of GS.
Work closely with the Chief of GS in supporting departmental goals.
Perform daily patient rounds for his/her own patients and/or otherpatients belongs to the surgical service according to the scheduleproposed by the Chief of GS. Review subjective and objective findingsincluding labs, diagnostic testing, vital signs, wound status, anddrains.
Provides patient education related to procedures, medications,therapeutic goals, etc.
Meet standards of professional conduct and courtesy.
Appropriate code, document and submit charges in a timely manner,establish and maintain records, reports and statistical data.
Equally share call/coverage duties with surgical colleagues to insureJIH has 24 hours’ surgical coverage.
Collaborate with other consultants in the establishment of diagnoses andtreatments of therapies and discharge needs both in the inpatient andoutpatient setting, Assist other consultants on surgical cases when necessary.
Work at maintaining a good and a cooperative working relationship withphysicians, departments and the other hospital staff.
Work on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other surgical team members and CMO.
Provide administrative support and committee assignments as requested.
Participate in fellow training when requested.
Attend MAO-physician meeting, departmental meeting, grand round,committee meetings and CEO meeting when asked for.
Be responsible for own working hours and arrangement of the annual leave.
Daily inpatient ward round for his/her own patients.

EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES：
Completed degree from and accredited Chinese or international medical university.
Completed full training in general surgery in and accredited trainingprogram either in China or abroad.
At lease 3-5 years’ clinical surgical experience.
