Job Description:

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate in the Department of Histopathology of the Division of Investigative Science, within Imperial College’s Faculty of Medicine based at the Hammersmith campus located in East Acton.
We are seeking an effective and motivated individual to work on a project funded by the EC “Translating molecular knowledge into early breast cancer management: building on the BIG (Breast International Group) network for improved treatment tailoring - TRANS-BIG”.
The successful candidate will have research experience supported by a PhD or an equivalent qualification, preferably in proteomics, biochemistry, chemistry or a related discipline. He/she will be competent in handling human specimens and have a thorough understanding of MALDI and SELDI-ToF technology.
This is a fixed term post funded by EU Commission until 28 February 2009.
Salary £23,850 - £32,020
