Description
The project focuses on the role of non-coding antisense RNAs in the epigenetic regulation of gene expression in the yeast S. cerevisiae (Camblong et al., Cell, 2007, 13, 706-17; Camblong et al., Genes&Dev, 2009, 23, 1534-45).
The appointment is scheduled to start during the fall 2009.
Qualification
A PhD in Life Sciences.
Strong background in molecular biology/genetics. Preference will be given to highly motivated candidates with expertise in yeast genetics/biochemistry or RNA biology.
Candidates should already be in Europe.
