Research Assistant/ POST DOCTORAL COMPUTER BIOLOGIST (1 post)

Salary: £25,623 – £28,839 (grade 6)/£31,513 – £35,469 (grade 7) per annum
Applications are invited to work with Professor Peter Adams to study the epigenetics of cancer and aging. The successful candidate will specifically provide bioinformatics support for a lab of 8-10 experimental researchers. Applicants should be comfortable with analysis and integration of genome-wide datasets, use of public biological databases, constructing biological data analysis pipelines and computer programming. The lab is situated in the new state-of-the-art Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute for Cancer Research. The research facilities, academic environment and funding are excellent.
