Description
A postdoctoral position is available to work on a research project investigating the role of Mullerian Inhibiting Substance (MIS) in maintaining the function of the brain during ageing. This position is available for two years and is funded by the New Zealand Foundation for Research Science and Technology (FRST).
The successful applicant will be able to analyse data and write up results for publication and presentation at scientific meetings. Experience in immunohistochemistry or stereology will be beneficial.
Applicants must hold a PhD in a relevant biological science with a research interest in cellular neuroscience and be committed to a research career in the biological sciences. The successful candidate will join an established team of researchers, but will be expected to be able to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
