Description

A position is available for a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow or Research Associate to supervise a Stem Cell Research Team. The position involves coordination and supervision of several postdoctoral fellows and technicians. Projects utilize in vitro and in vivo techniques to characterize a novel CNS stem cell and to investigate their therapeutic potential to repair CNS disease models, including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and Spinal Cord Injury. The successful applicant should have a PhD and/or MD and several years postdoctoral experience. Experience in cell culture, stem cell research, animal models of neurodegenerative disorders, microscopy, personnel management and manuscript production is required.
