Job Description

Postdoctoral positions are currently available at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of injury to the blood-brain barrier. Our vibrant and NIH-funded program includes projects on 1) HIV trafficking in the brain, 2) cerebrovascular toxicity of methamphetamine, and 3) the development of brain metastases. The ideal candidate for this position will be a recent doctoral graduate, who is highly motivated and has expertise in molecular and cellular techniques and/or strong background in animal experimentation.
