Applications are invited for a post-doctoral scientist to join an HIVresearch team that seeks to understand mucosal immune responses to HIVand how they modulate transmission risk. The successful applicant willwork defining adaptive and innate immune responses in blood, breast milkand genital secretions. ?State-of-the-art? approaches includingmulti-parameter flow cytometry will be undertaken to investigate T and Bantigen specific responses. Applicants will have a doctoral degree inthe biological sciences. The post will suit newly qualified individuals,although additional experience in virology, molecular biology orbiochemistry would be desirable.
