Description

Postdoctoral positions in cardiovascular research are immediatelyavailable in the Division of Molecular Medicine, Department ofAnesthesiology and Cardiovascular Research Laboratories at UCLA. Adoctorate in biomedical sciences or related disciplines is required.Previous trainings in cardiomyocyte biology, coronary arterydisease/heart disease models or angiogenesis/vascular biology are desired.

These are great opportunities of joining our very productive and fastgrowing research team located in the heart of the UCLA Health System.Our recent work has been published in leading scientific journals suchas PNAS and Circulation Research. One of the unique and importantresearch tools we have is an electron spin/paramagnetic resonance(ESR/EPR) spectrophotometer for quantitative and sensitive detection ofreactive oxygen species.
