Positions for postdoctoral fellows are available in an expanding gastrointestinal biology research program at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Our group’s efforts are focused on inflammation, repair, and tumorigenesis. In particular, we are interested in signaling initiated by cell surface growth factor and cytokine receptors during the intestinal response to injury, and the mechanisms by which dysregulation of these responses contributes to inflammatory bowel diseases and colitis-associated cancer. Talented and motivated scientists are sought to investigate these processes using novel model systems.

Candidates should have or be close to obtaining a Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline (e.g. cell biology, physiology, or similar). Good communication skills and a record of excellent productivity are required. To apply, please send CV and contact information for three professional references.
